As former Buyer and Merchandise Manager for the Smithsonian Institution Museum Shops, Kathy shopped the world in search of unique crafts, jewelry, textiles and other cultural treasures.

Co-owner of Retail-Details LLC, she now consults with museum stores and non profit organizations, working on merchandising and micro-enterprise development.

When not traipsing the world in search of good buys and ethnic crafts, Kathy can be found on the tennis courts, in art galleries, on the ski slopes, or engrossed in a novel.
